Is Social Media the New Mass Media?

Interesting question posed by Chief Marketer. I don't think we're quite there yet, but we're not too far off. Certainly if you think targeted marketing is important you have to question the efficacy of print and TV when your customers are engaged in active dialogue elsewhere. It's the old, "fish where the fish are" analogy.
