Rock The Vote

Regardless of your political affiliation, you have to admire Barack Obama's campaign. It is a brilliant strategy to build the grass roots at colleges and universities for support. Besides the fact that there is built in activism at every college in America his campaign staff upped the ante further by getting the biggest grass roots band ever this side of the Grateful Dead and snag Dave Matthews.

The other interesting part of this is the fact that damn near half the show seems to be available on YouTube, albeit shaky with poor sound quality.

He has utilized social media and grass roots like no other candidate, and if he secures the nomination and goes on to win the White House, it will be because he dared to do it a bit differently.
